KNITTING A SAMPLER SCARF - 8 classes
Registration Closed
Service Description
Participants will learn the basics of knitting to make a sampler scarf. We'll start with casting on and learning the knit stitch. From there we'll work on the purl stitch for a stockinette section and then combine these two stitches for the basketweave, ribbing, and seed stitch, and finally binding off. All materials provided.* *Bulky wool yarn is provided for this class with size 10 knitting needles. If you are sensitive to wool or have a special yarn in mind, you can bring that instead. If you're bringing yarn and need needles, just let me know ahead of time so I can have the right size needle for your yarn. Bulky or worsted is the best weight for this class. Children younger than 7 must be accompanied by an adult.
